All apps published by Andy Apps are designed with a privacy-first approach. Your data stays on your device. We don't collect, store, or sell your personal information. We don't run ads. That's the gist — read on for the full details.
Andy Apps is an independent app developer based in the United Kingdom. We create free standalone web apps and progressive web apps (PWAs) for personal use. Our apps are hosted at andyapps.uk and associated domains.

All Andy Apps follow the same core principle: your data stays on your device. Our apps are built as standalone client-side applications with no backend servers, no databases, and no cloud infrastructure. We have no ability to see, access, retrieve, or collect your data.

All of this data is stored locally on your device, in your web browser's storage (IndexedDB and/or localStorage). None of it is transmitted to us or any third party, and we have no access to it.

Some apps may offer an optional Google Drive backup feature. If you choose to enable this, your app data is saved directly from your device to your own personal Google Drive account. This data does not pass through our servers, and we do not have access to your Google Drive or any data stored within it.
The Google Drive integration uses the drive.file scope, which means the app can only access files that it has created — it cannot read any other files in your Drive.

Some links within our apps to ticket platforms, hotel booking sites, and other services are affiliate links. This means that if you click a link and make a purchase, Andy Apps earns a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate tracking is handled entirely by the third-party platform — we do not place tracking cookies or collect any data about your purchases.
Some apps may request access to your device's camera or photo library (for example, to add photos to a scrapbook or gallery feature). Photos are processed entirely on your device and stored locally. They are not uploaded to any server.
Some apps may request permission to send notifications (for example, event reminders or backup prompts). These notifications are generated entirely on your device by the app's service worker — they are not sent from a server, and no data leaves your device in connection with notifications.
Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since all data is stored locally on the user's device and we collect no data at all, this risk is inherently mitigated.

All Andy Apps are served over HTTPS, ensuring that the app code is delivered to your device securely. Since your data never leaves your device (unless you opt into features like Google Drive backup, which uses Google's own encryption), data security is primarily governed by your device's own security measures.

Since we collect no data, material changes are unlikely — but we will keep this policy up to date if our apps' functionality changes or new apps are added.
